Following a successful sold-out debut last year, the Bésame Mucho Latin music festival will return to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday, Dec. 2 with a lineup that will bring together generations of artists and fans.
The festival sold out in just 70-minutes in 2022 and again just as swiftly this year. Bésame Mucho celebrates Latino culture with a day filled with diverse styles of music, art installations and authentic cuisine from a number of Southern California vendors. At last year’s event, thousands of fans lined up early to sprint across the stadium parking lot to catch their favorite acts, with sets ranging from 35-50 minutes in length. The shorter set times and number of acts caused a big of a traffic jam as fans attempted to rush from stage to stage, but this year, with a few less acts and some longer set times, things should run a bit more smoothly.

Canadian-raised, but Mexico-born pop singer Kaia Lana is not only gearing up to make her Bésame Mucho debut on the Te Gusta El Pop? (You Like Pop?) stage, but is also looking forward to catching some of her favorite acts. For Lana, there’s a palpable sense of nostalgia and homecoming with this event as she reflects on the joy of connecting with a like-minded community.
“There’s something about this particular festival and lineup that makes me feel like I’m home and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that,” she shared during a video interview ahead of the festival. “Of course, I’m going to give my audience the best performance I can give, this is my first time at Bésame after all, but fans can also expect to see me running from stage to stage just to catch artists. I’m there as a fan, but I’m also studying their production, sounds and the way they move on stage is everything for me. As a musician, I think there’s always some level of looking to your elders to see what else you can do and improve on, especially watching Maná or Los Bukis. This is like me getting a Ph.D., and I think for fans coming, it’s just another way to connect with family and your roots.”
Here’s what you need to know before heading to Bésame Mucho this weekend.
The stages and lineup
With headliners Maná, Los Bukis and Gloria Trevi, the multi-genre festival spans from regional Mexican, cumbia, Latin pop, merengue to rock en Español acts, which will take over three stages: The Rockero, Las Clásicas and Te Gusta El Pop? (You Like Pop?).
The Rockero Stage, where fans can find the sounds of Latin rock and punk, will feature sets by artists Natalia Lafourcade, La Ley, Ska-P, Aterciopelados and Maldita Vecindad.
The Las Clásicas Stage will feature Alejandro Fernández, Pepe Aguilar, Los Tucanes de Tijuana and Conjunto Primavera.
Lastly, the Te Gusta El Pop? stage includes Reik, Camila, Belinda, Emmanuel, Jesse & Joy and Lana.
“This stage has all the classics in terms of Latin pop,” Lana said. “To share this stage is a big honor, and fans can truly expect a day filled with great pop hits, slow ballads and some dancing too. The best part about this setup is you can roam from The Rockero Stage and then end it here with a bit of pop madness. Whatever mood you want, it’s pretty much there.”
There’s also a handful of returning artists, including Café Tacvba, Hombres G, Enanitos Verdes, Ramón Ayala and Banda El Recodo.
Food and activities
Once again, the fest will feature an array of culinary delights from local Los Angeles and Mexico-inspired eateries. From savory tacos and quesadillas to refreshing aguas frescas and zesty micheladas, attendees will have a diverse selection to satisfy their taste buds. The festival grounds will be adorned with captivating Día de Los Muertos-inspired art, creating a vibrant and immersive atmosphere.
Additionally, there will be ample photo opportunities for fans to capture memorable moments against the backdrop of these artistic displays.
Times, parking and more
There are no ins and outs of the festival grounds. Small clutch purses and fanny packs do not need to be clear, but cannot have more than one pocket. All other bags or backpacks are not permitted unless clear. Hydration packs are also allowed.
Attendees can expect gates to open up at 11 a.m. and for the show to end around 11 p.m. The Bésame Mucho festival daily set times will be posted on all official social media channels.
There is limited parking available onsite, promoters highly encourage attendees to use public transportation to get to the stadium. Fans can take the Red, Purple and Gold or Silver Line metro stations to Union Station, where a free settle awaits that will take attendees directly to Dodger Stadium.
