New York: The mother of a woman, who was shot dead at Nova music festival near Reim in Israel on Saturday last week, stated that the Hamas terrorists were slaughtering people for fun. It is to be noted that at least 260 people were killed by Hamas terrorists at the music festival which was held to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Among the casualties was Hannie Ricardo’s daughter Oriya Ricardo.
“My daughter Oriya Ricardo was crying and trying to run away when the Hamas terrorists barged into the music festival and started shooting people. My daughter ran for 100 metres to save herself when she was caught and shot by the terrorists. I was informed on a phone call that my daughter is missing and I took the first flight back to Israel,” Hannie Ricardo said.
Hannie went on to add that she still hopes that the authorities will call her and say that Oriya Ricardo is alive. “I still hope to see her with a boyfriend and get married. I will see my grandkids. But it is never going to happen. My heart is broken,” she added.

Hannie urged the world to condemn Hamas’ actions as they are hateful people and live to kill others. She also equated Hamas’ actions with Nazis’ operation. “It’s not a war. It’s slaughtering people for fun,” Hannie added.
On being asked about the thousands of people hitting the streets in support of Palestinians, Hannie said they cannot support terrorists in the name of freedom of speech. “They are supporting freedom of hate in the name of freedom of speech. Give me at least one good reason for freedom of hate,” Hannie told The New York Post.
On Friday, Hamas released a video in which it could be seen that the terrorists opened fire at closed doors of the makeshift toilets built at the site of the Nova music festival.
