50 Cent has impressed fans with his weight loss results after crediting abstinence with helping him “train harder.”
In recent Instagram photos, the G-Unit mogul has been showing off a noticeably slimmer physique — and fans have been commenting on the new look.
“This is a perfect example of a man wanting to be healthy. It’s not appreciated. People so judgmental,” one person said.
Another added: “Lost mad weight …good shit fam.”
There were also a few jokes at the rapper’s expense, with one commenter saying: “Nah my son gotta. Get his weight back before ja rule throw this n-gga on his Bean.”
Others accused the rap legend of taking the weight loss drug Ozempic: “Ok I get it errrybody on Ozempic.”
50 Cent has been on a self-improvement mission since the start of the year. In an Instagram post over the weekend, he said: “I’m focused man, practicing abstinence is helping me train harder. I feel great I think more people should try it.”
The comment seems to affirm that 50 is sticking to his abstinence vow that he made earlier in January.
He wrote: “My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”
50 had earlier said he was determined to get in better shape for his now-concluded Final Lap Tour, which took him around the world last year.
Speaking on Instagram Live last May, he said: “We gonna do the tour and stuff like that, right? So I’m back working out like that. I always work out, but it’s different when I gotta start running and all that shit. Matter of fact, I’ma show y’all [on] Live every day. Yeah, I’ma do five miles in front of ’em every day.
“You gonna see me come back down. I’ma lose at least 25 pounds before [the tour]. I’ll be back in dog shape before I go. I’ma start talking mad shit when I’m back in shape. That’s why I be wanting to fight and shit like that, on the low.”
