BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Spinning backwards, going in circles, and upside down — the rides at this year’s Crawfish Music Festival did not disappoint.
Along with the rides came your typical carnival games, where Cooper Fountain is trying to rack up another stuffed animal.
“My favorite part was most likely the Hell Taxi cause it, like, spun around like a bunch,” he said. “It felt pretty good. Even though I didn’t knock all of them down, I still got it.”
Coast Coliseum arena event manager Katelan King says the festival has been a huge hit.
“We definitely had over 10,000 people throughout the weekend and more coming in. … We’ve had tons of music, fun on rides and lots of crawfish,” she said.
Many chowed down as they listened to live music.
“Where else can you go see a concert on the coast, all these headliners for 25 dollars, eat crawfish – a sense of community, everybody coming together enjoying the same thing?” King said.
The festival concluded on Sunday.
